A 23-year-old singer, songwriter and guitarist and the daughter of jazz guitarist/producer Chuck Loeb, and Spanish singer/composer Carmen Cuesta, Lizzy was born in New York City and grew up in both the US and Spain.
She was raised in a household environment full of music, with a studio in the garage, and some of the top musicians in the world coming in to record.
Lizzy's musical studies began early with piano lessons, and playing flute in the school band, as well as singing in the choir. But it wasn't until she was fifteen that she took up the guitar and began writing and singing her own songs, which quickly became her passion, and ultimately her choice of a career.
Her musical influences are quite eclectic, ranging from James Taylor,jOni Mitchel, Stevie Wonder and The Beatles to Ella Fitzgerald, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Mariah Carey and Sting. Her guitar influences are also diverse, including blues, jazz, and rock - but when asked, she’ll readily tell you her guitar hero is John Mayer.
She has performed in clubs and concerts in NYC, LA, Madrid, Hamburg, Berlin and London, and has built up a large fan base on MySpace, Facebook, and Youtube.
Lizzy has recorded on several CD's and during a time she was living in London she was also a featured performer on BBC 2’s ’Friday Night is Music Night’ with world acclaimed composer George Fenton, as both a singer, guitarist, and co-songwriter.
Lizzy has just self-released her first project as a recording artist "Drawing Lines", which was the number one CD on CDBaby.com <http://CDBaby.com> for two weeks, with one track also being the number one most downloaded, "None Or Too Much".
